We have occasion to collect and process personal data about you when you use the mysharingbox.com website (the “Site”). Before or at the time of collecting personal data, you will be informed of the use that we will make of it.

We only collect and use the personal data that are necessary for the purposes that we have defined beforehand and for other similar purposes, other than with the prior consent of the person concerned or as required by law.

Data collected and end purposes

When reserving terminals, you have to provide certain data to benefit from our services: the obligatory data are marked with an asterisk (*) and the data not marked with an asterisk (*) are optional. If you fail to fill in the obligatory boxes, your reservation of sharingbox terminals cannot be taken into account. In effect, the data provided are processed by us in order to make the reservation for the terminal selected on the Site.

The personal data collected, where applicable, via the sharingbox terminal during its use, are processed as required to make the photos taken available.

Your personal data are used solely for internal purposes and they are not transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. This data will be passed on to our employees and to other companies in our group if they need access to this data for the processing purposes indicated.

Storage period

We will only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes identified above or as you may have subsequently authorised. Thus your data are saved for the period covered by the commercial relations and for a maximum period of one (1) year as from the date of the final contact.

Cookies

With your consent, we may store the following short text files (called “cookies”) on your device:
• Technical cookies that are used solely for technical purposes and they enable enhanced user experience for the Site. However, if you refuse to accept such cookies, you will not be prevented from browsing the Site;
•Analytical cookies are used to understand your user experience and your behaviour on the Site;
•We use marketing cookies to keep in touch with you and to be able to send you an e-mail when you have not come to finalise your order on our site.

The information contained in these cookies is only stored for a period of six (6) months at most.

Security and confidentiality

We use suitable security means to protect personal data from loss and theft, and also from illicit access, disclosure, copies, uses and modifications, within the following limits: it is impossible to fully guarantee the security of the Internet and the data sent to the Site, and it is impossible to act as a substitute for the precautions that you have to take (it is up to you to take all precautions necessary to ensure the confidentiality of your passwords and avoid disclosing them to any persons not authorised to use them).

Your rights

In compliance with the legislation applicable regarding protection of personal data, you hold rights to access, modify and delete data concerning you. If there is any doubt regarding such a request, a photocopy of the identity document of the person concerned can be requested; this document will only be kept for identification purposes and to process the reply. We have a period of two (2) months as from the date of receipt of the complete request to reply.

You are also entitled to forward a complaint to the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL, www.cnil.fr) for France and to any other competent authority.

Modifications to the present personal data policy

This personal data policy may be reviewed by us at any time in the light of changes in legislation or in our business.

In the event of modifications to the policy, the new version in force is applicable as from the date at which it is put online on the Site.

In the event of a dispute, the personal data policy to be taken into account is the policy in force at the time of the facts giving rise to the dispute.
